If you can’t find the answer to your question on our website, please feel free to call us in advance.  In the meantime, you may find the following list helpful.

Is there a minimum night stay?
Yes, bookings are a two night minimum.  As always there are exceptions to every rule.  Please call direct for single night stays.

Are your prices per room and do they include breakfast?
All prices are per room, and include a delicious cooked breakfast.

What type of payment do you accept?
We accept cash, Banker’s Automated Clearing Services (BACS), Visa Debit/Delta, Visa/Credit Maestro/Switch and Mastercard.

What are your check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is after 4pm and before 7pm.  Please contact us for other check-in arrangements.  Check-out is 10.30am on the morning of departure.

Are children welcome?
Children aged 13 and above are welcome.

Are pets welcome?
Sorry pets are not allowed.  We do however, accommodate guide and service dogs.  Please let us know in advance if you intend to bring a guide or service dog so that we can prepare a fitting welcome.

Is parking available?
Yes, ample room for cars plus a secure garage for motor cycles and bikes.

Is there a laundry service?
Sorry no laundry service but we do have a spacious boot room to hang and dry outdoor clothing.

Is there an iron and ironing board in the bedroom?
There is no ironing board in your room but I am sure we can come to some arrangement to banish your creases.

Do you provide any other main meal apart from breakfast?
No, we only provide breakfast.  There are many restaurants and cafes in Grantown high street, which is only a two minute walk.

What is your smoking policy?
We have a strict ‘No Smoking’ policy anywhere within the building.  This includes e-cigarettes, vape kits etc.  There is an ashtray provided outside the house.  A minimum fee of £100 for a deep clean will be charged to anyone who chooses to breach this policy.

Do you sell alcohol?
Sorry, we do not have a licence to sell alcohol but will be more than happy to supply glasses, ice and slice etc for you to enjoy your previously purchased alcohol in the guest lounge.

I have a food allergy, will you be able to cater for me?
Please let us know in advance if you have any special dietary requirements and we will do our best to accommodate you.  Please be warned, our kitchen is not a nut free environment.

Are any of your rooms accessible for wheelchair users/people with mobility problems?
Mount Barker is a very old house and our rooms are all accessed via a staircase.
